31st street beach is the closest beach access to us. Take the 31st or 35th bus east a little past the White Sox stadium and you will see the water. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach from any CTA stop.

If you plan on taking public transportation to travel you might want to invest in a Ventra card. Ventra is an electronic fare payment system for CTA and Pace.
Ventra cards can be purchased for $5 at Walgreens or most train stations. Ventra has an app and once your card is registered you get your $5 back in credit.
