The trail runs from Collingwood to Meaford (21 km to Thornbury and 13 km to Meaford) and has more than 30 access points. It also passes by many beaches and conservation areas: Northwinds Beach, Peasmarsh, Council Beach, Craigleith Provincial Park, Christie Beach and many more!

Located off Hwy 26 towards Craigleith. There’s a small area where you can swim and there are public tennis courts.

This is a small rocky beach that also has a park, a playground, volleyball courts, trails, picnic area & washrooms. "The Chipper" for snacks & ice cream. Stick around to watch the sunset. Paid parking, 7 days a week

The world’s longest freshwater beach! Parking info: "Visitors need to reserve their spot online, including anyone with seasonal vehicle permits: Walk-up permits will continue to be sold, but there is the possibility of being turned away if the park is already at capacity." Check out: Provincial parks passes info: Search for "Ontario Parks parksblog "and "eservations Ontario Parks" (sorry, I cannot put a link in here.) A daily vehicle permit or Ontario Parks seasonal pass is valid in all provincial park beach area parking lots. There are also Town of Wasaga Beach municipal parking lots and private parking lots, which have their own rates. Provincial park permits are not valid in these parking lots. There are eight provincial park beach areas that provide parking. A daily vehicle permit (valid for one vehicle) is $21.00 Ontario Parks seasonal passes are also available: a summer seasonal pass is $75 + HST and an annual season pass is $99 + HST.

Walk to near-by bar, restaurant & café/bistro.

A car (taxi/Uber) is otherwise recommended. The Blue Mountains Village and Wasaga Beach are also reachable by bus.
