Nelson Bay is a holiday playground at your doorstep which is only moments from National Parks for scenic bush and beach walks with lookout points, swimming, surfing, boating, fishing, cycling, walking, golf, shopping and dining. The only limit is your imagination.

Birubi Beach is located at Anna Bay and is the northern most section of the 'Golden Bight' — a huge expanse of beach which extends from Stockton near Newcastle to Port Stephens.

A short easy walk to the top of Mt Tomaree will reward you with excellent views of Nelson Bay. Very well marked with an alternative track to the site of former gun emplacements on the ocean side of the peak.

Fly Point Dive Site
Victoria Paradely Point is located between Nelson Bay and Little Beach with spectacular sweeping views of the Bay.
Fly Point is a protected aquatic sanctuary that offers some of the best shore diving and snorkelling in the State. Lush sponge gardens and kelp forests are just a few metres from the beach and home to pineapple fish, blue groupers, octopus, wobbegong sharks and even elusive seahorses.
