Our Zoo is really top notch and it just keeps getting better! It’s a must see for families and animal lovers! Eat at the Savanna Cafe the food is great and the view is spectacular!

Bass Lake is a great little community. There are shops, a lake, and warm water you can swim or enjoy a boat or jet ski rental. There are several restaurants and a local dive bar if you’d like to enjoy a cocktail! It’s about a 1 hour drive from the suite.

It’s about 1.5 hour drive from our suite. It’s a National Treasure. If you plan on going on a weekend it best to be INSIDE the park before 8am. Any later and you could wait for entry for several hours. Parking is difficult during peak season. Plan to park in a central area and leave your car. Biking around the park from your vehicle is ideal during peak season.

This is a locally owned restaurant that has recently changed hands. The neighborhood isn’t my favorite but their bacon fried rice is a unique smoky goodness and the Thai Basil Chicken is change your life good! Get a side of white rice to soak up the delicious sauce.

If you love cheesy pizza this is the place to go! I highly recommend getting the cheese sticks and adding the pizza toppings you like which is a meal just by itself. Get the ranch and the marinara sauce for your sides. Not that hungry? You can even get a huge SLICE which are all made fresh to order.

This is the ONLY chain store I’ve included in our list just because it’s unique. This is Baskin Robin’s new prototype store for their new look. It has some awesome features not found in any other Baskin’s like custom cakes as if you went to a bakery. They do anything you want! Plus, chocolate dipped bananas or slices of cake! It’s awesome!
