San Carlos is a very family friendly town with a great downtown area filled with restaurants on Laurel street. There are many parks, local hikes and a weekly farmer's market on Sundays. Additionally, there are several great local breweries and wineries on the east side of town near the 101 freeway and Industrial Road.
