There are some many things to love about this park. The scenery is gorgeous. The grounds are well maintained. We love the overlook and docks. One place in particular is the care taken when they created the store. Not only do they have the camping necessities, but they have cute merchandise and a really interesting nature exhibit. Everyone is super friendly!

This is a small town store and ice cream shop that reminds you of the past. It is filled with antiques, unique gifts, Texas themed items and old time candies. Best of all they have Blue Bell ice cream hand scooped by the owner who is also the sheriff and fire chief of this small town. The decor reminds you of an old time soda fountain. Stop in and enjoy the ice cream and ambiance.

Great BBQ restaurant established over 20 years ago. The shrimp, BBQ, and fried okra are definitely favorites. You can only get take out right now (Because of the current restriction) like anywhere else but they get it out to your car as quick as they can and it well worth the visit.

You can only get take out right now (Because of the current restriction) like anywhere else but they get it out to your car as quick as they can and it well worth the visit.

Livingston is a small town so shopping close to the house can be limited. We recommend HEB for all your stay needs.
