Leidseplein is reachable by almost all tram lines or by walking (about 30 minutes from Amsterdam central station). It is a centre for nightlife and shopping during daytime. It also offers several restaurants close by! Very touristic but lots of options!

From brothels to sex shops, coffee shops to museums, the Amsterdam Red Light District is famous as the iconic symbol of "sexual freedom" & "liberation" of the Netherlands. It's constantly crowded & quite frankly a small area made up of 4 small streets. It is worth the try for sightseeing since it is such a famous & iconic location!
