20 Minute walk. Great spot for drinks & food. Its kinda like a fancy food courts, so its a great spot to go if the person/people you're going with all like different types of food. Our favourite there is the Burgers & Parm Truffle Fries from "Resto Boemo". A bit on the pricey side but it has a nice atmosphere and lots of seating. Check hours before you go, its closed on Sunday. They also only accept debit or credit, no cash.

25 Minute walk. Great brunch! A bit pricey, but the food is good. There's always a line at this place and they don't take reservations, so definitely go before 10am if you can, and be ready to wait outside in the cold if you go after 10am (even if you go before sometimes). Their side waffle is V yummy!

Neighbourhoods

Kensington Market is a great spot if you like vintage shops and local grocery stores. You can spend a full afternoon walking from shop-to-shop. Its definitely a bit more of a grungy spot so if you're looking for something high-scale then I wouldn't suggest Kensington. Favourite Coffee Shop in Kensington: Café Pamenar FIKA Cafe Favourite Shop: Kid Icarus (lots of greeting cards, and a great spot to buy a Toronto souvenir) There's lots of vintage shops on every street

Grocery Store

Grocery Shopping. Both higher-end/more affordable options.
11 Minute walk. Rabba Fine Foods is a great spot to go if you want to pick up your basic groceries. The produce and meat isn't the freshest, so if you're looking for fresh produce I would suggest going to a spot more local or going to Loblaws (which is a bit further away)

16 Minute walk. Loblaws is a grocery store that will literally have everything you need. With a great produce, meat, cheese, and pastry section its an amazing spot to go for all of your grocery needs. It is a higher price point, so if you want to do a lot of grocery shopping with a more affordable price point, we would suggest FreshCo. They also have an LCBO and Jo Fresh located in the upper part of the store. & there's a Bulk Barn and Winners located not far from it as well. You can park underground there and its free if you spend $40 or more.
