A 2.2-mile nature trail offers hikers several loop trail options. The trail surface is a combination of gravel or natural soils. The trail winds through alder forest, coastal prairie, and small wildflower meadows with a stop to view the confluence of the Nestucca and Little Nestucca Rivers.

Nestucca Bay National Wildlife Refuge
A 2.2-mile nature trail offers hikers several loop trail options. The trail surface is a combination of gravel or natural soils. The trail winds through alder forest, coastal prairie, and small wildflower meadows with a stop to view the confluence of the Nestucca and Little Nestucca Rivers.
Visitors can hike the 3.5 miles of trail, including the ½ mile long Beltz Dike Trail leading from the parking area west through the estuary to loop trails in the coniferous forested dunes or continue through the dunes to the beach.

An important salmon spawning ground, Munson Creek Falls tumbles 319 feet, making it the tallest waterfall in the Coast Range. A short trail winds along Munson creek to the waterfall. During the late fall through the winter watch the waters for spawning salmon.
