I very nice short little hike with great views and a detailed history of the local indians and ecology of the valley that is now Bass Lake Reservoir.

A hike up the mountain that the cabin is on. You can see the fire tower out back from the driveway of the house but the trail to the top starts near Skylake Yosemite Camp on Bass Lake.
