We love living downtown because it is so easy to just walk to dinner and have a drink without worry about driving. Here are some of my favorites!
This is the must-visit place of Gig Harbor. Watch boats sail in and out of the harbor. Seasonal specials and happy hours menu, along with a wide selection of entrees. Good selection of beers on tap, wine and cocktails. The walls are lined with fan travel photos in their Tides gear from all over the world.

Best burger in town, hands down. Every time I go, there is a line out the door, so be prepared. Grab a beer and enjoy the truffle fries!

Great space to sit and have a beer with friends, inside or out on a sunny day. They do not serve food, but you can bring in take out from your favorite place. Fun atmosphere. Children are allowed, no pets.

The farm offers a variety of local cuisine, pizza, shellfish, ice cream - all brought in by vendors - which creates a vibe of casual fun. Hang out by the picnic tables and listen to live music or play a game of corn hole in the yard with a glass of cider or kombucha. It is a magical place.

Easy to enjoy parks and trails
Cushman Trail is a 12+ mile paved trail just up the street. There are some challenging hills for bikers to the north and to the south you can go almost to the Narrows Bridge. Connecting is just a short ride down Reid Rd.

Grandview Park has a trail entrance just up the street. This is a favorite walk for us. The park has several benches where you can just sit and be quiet, listening to the birds.
