Things to Do
There is much more than this but these are the places that stood out to me. Let me know if you find something cool I should add.
A short drive out of Lake Havasu City and you can see the "deepest dam in the world." Not the tallest or the largest, but the one with the deepest piers that extend 300+ feet under water and earth. There are fishing points (check the regs) and drives up into the hilly cliff areas with even better views. There you can spot wildlife, wildflowers and enjoyed the vistas. Seeing the Colorado River and its brilliant blue expanse is special, something you don’t want to miss.

The campground is on the Colorado River, has very clean bathrooms, hot showers and amazing beaches and picnic areas. Perfect for a day trip or overnight camping experience. It is $10 for up to 4 people in a car. The campground is primarily staffed by volunteers, who are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

Buckskin Mountain State Park
5476 AZ-95The campground is on the Colorado River, has very clean bathrooms, hot showers and amazing beaches and picnic areas. Perfect for a day trip or overnight camping experience. It is $10 for up to 4 people in a car. The campground is primarily staffed by volunteers, who are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
Plenty of activity to enjoy at this small friendly casino which also has entertainment on the weekends. On the outside of the casino, there is area to launch boats, a great beach front area for BBQs, Picknicks and swimming in the river. Inside the casino, there are only slot machines (a bit of a bummer). However, there is a small buffet and a water slide for kids that's pretty fun.

BlueWater Resort & Casino

On the outside of the casino, there is area to launch boats, a great beach front area for BBQs, Picknicks and swimming in the river. Colorado River Indian Tribes Museum
Very educational and professional Museum that covers the history of the tribes and the region. Well worth the time..Museum is off the main highway but can be found using any program.

Located in Lake Havasu, this is a very scenic golf course with beautiful views of the surrounding hills. The course and greens are in perfect condition. Fun and challenging.
