The kitchen is fully equipped with high quality items (I'm a keen home cook and used to run catering business) - fridge-freezer, microwave, new Neff oven, baking equipment, lots of crockery/cutlery/wine glasses. None of this one plate/fork per person nonsense There are plenty of spare towels, extra pillows. I use Airbnb when I travel and hate it when I'm given one towel and pillow....feels like being back at boarding school :o/ There is a washing machine and dryer, NetFlix and high-speed internet are included It's really perfect for longer stays, a true home from home
Ramsey is a beautiful, historic seaside town with clean beaches It is incredibly safe and quiet with easy access to the surrounding countryside You can see some nice things to do in the area on my Instagram @ayrebnb

A very handy place to stay. Bus stops both directions to Douglas or other parts of the Island. A short walk to the famous Horse Trams that take people across Douglas promenade. The electric tram which goes to Ramsey and stops at lovely glens on the way is also a short distance from the house.
Guests have the use of the lounge which has a coal fire on cold evenings. Bedroom has a queen size comfortable bed. Hairdryer, ironing board and tea and coffee are all available.

Secure off road parking. Ideal for families or groups walking and cycling based holidays. Spread out, kick off your shoes and relax. This is a traditional Victorian house built in 1901, as such it combines large living areas, beautiful corniced ceilings and other Victorian features together with all modern amenities for guests comfort. The house has a large garden on 3 sides of the house and maximises the sunny aspects.
This is a quiet residential suburb of Ramsey, but within a mile of the town and harbour with a footpath to the lovely Mooragh Park and amenities. Ramsey itself has a lovely highstreet with many independent shops and eateries. The house is outside the TT course which means you are able to access other areas of the island during races.

Our Single room on the second floor, comes with LCD TV, clock radio alarm, complementary tea/coffee, free WiFi. IT IS PRICED TO OFFER THE MOST ECONOMICAL OPTION FOR THE SINGLE TRAVELLER. The room has its own shower within the room and a private lockable toilet that's located outside the room on the hallway. This is a nice bright room that overlooks the front of the guest house. It is offered on a ROOM ONLY BASE but our Continental breakfast is available daily at a charge of only 4.00 GBP.
Our building was built in the 1880's as a Guest House to serve the growing tourist trade of the Victorian age. We are in the heart of Douglas the capital town of the Island. The location is ideal for all major attractions including the local night life.
We are close to: The Villa Marina entertainment complex, have many excellent restaurants/pubs close to hand.

    Our house is located in the beautiful village of Agneash, a mile from Laxey (as featured in the Julia Bradbury Britain's Best Walks programme). We enjoy wonderful views over Snaefell and Laxey. It is a genuine rural idyll just below the only mountain on the island. We have four bedrooms available: two singles, a small double room and a bigger double room. Please note that we (the owners) live on the premises. Also from 12/06/20 to 28/06/20 only one double room is available due to decorating.
    The comfortable and cosy atmosphere of this cottage beckons you to visit. This is the ideal place to take long walks and succumb to the enchanting beauty of the surrounding area. It is also only a 20 minutes' drive to Douglas for those who are just after a base. When possible, we can arrange lifts. The house has a very private back garden with decking and a large lawn. Ample off road parking is available opposite the house where a van could fit in.
    Agneash occupies an excellent elevated position with great views. There are many picnic areas. It is heaven for walkers. There are four restaurants and three pubs nearby, and great glens to walk in. When possible, we are happy to give lifts to local restaurants. For further information, the village featured in the ITV programme Britain's Best Walks with Julia Bradbury (episode 6) if it is still accessible at the time of reading this.

    A Georgian house dating back to 1813 which has been lovingly restored maintaining many original features, has spacious rooms with high ceilings and an air of peace and tranquility. Eclectic decor, mostly in a traditional style, mature gardens.
    A warm, comfortable home, a mixture of English eccentric and modern styles, old and new, a relaxing and pleasant harmony throughout the property.
    The house is a walking distance from the centre of Ramsey, the second biggest town in the Isle of Man and the biggest in the North of the Isle of Man, used to be a busy and popular sea side resort in Victorian times, prior to the era of commercial aircraft and package holidays. Some of the old sea side resort charm still lingers, althoug these days Ramsey is very quet, sleepy and visited mostly during the summer months by people who like walking or cycling holidays but especially TT motorbike enthusiasts and some business people as well. We are 10 min walking distance from the beach in Ramsey, 10 minutes wlaking from central Ramsey with all its ameniteis and eateries ( there is an Indian, a Chinese, two Italian style restaurants, a French restaurant, several pubs and two Fish n' Chippies. There is a good take away pizza place, two Costa Coffees and several local cafes, three food stroes , ice cream parlour and a string of small local shops sellling gifts.) Mooragh Park is 5 minutes walk, it has a BMX track and an open door tennis court as well as a rugby pitch. There is a swimming pool although it is too busy. On the opposite side of the Sulby river running past Mount Auldyn House there is a small Nature trail, good for walking and running. There are several Victorian places of interest and many places for long walks. The Barrule reservoire is 10 min drive and open for fishing and so is the Sulby reservoire ( approx 20 min drive).Laxey, with its famous Wheel and mining history is a pleasant journey on the electric train ( one of the oldest surviving in the country) away. Ramsey golf course is nly 6-7 min drive and we can provide assistance with booking of tee times, golf clubs and trolleys.

    Georgian period house with a great sense space, calm and pleasure about it. Next to the beaches, it offers easy access for long walks on the sand. It is quiet and still close to the town center, buses, trains TT/MGP race course etc. Three nights minimum. Within the price range, probably the best B&B on the island. Breakfast included.
    Perfect TT location. A few minutes walk from all the action, pubs etc, but also quiet at night time. It is to be noted that the ground floor room has its own toilet and washbasin just adjacent, (photo enclosed) but that the bathtop/shower, also as seen on the photos, is two floors up and is a shared one. This small inconvenience is reflected in the price.
    The town of Ramsey, the second largest on the island, is situated in the north which surprisingly has a much milder and sunnier climate than the rest of the area. It has many tourist and leisure attractions, from the ten pin bowling alley, new swimming pool, working fishing harbour, 18 hole golf course and many delightful shops and cafes to browse in. There are numerous walks from Ramsey taking in the wonderful coastline and the glens, which surround the area. The Famous Hairpin bend on the TT course is a short walk as is the buzz of Parliament Square where the bikes make their turn up towards the mountain course. The Manx Electric railway terminus is situated in the centre of the town and from here you can take a coastal ride as far as Laxey, connect with the Snowfell Railway up to the top of the mountain or carry on through spectacular scenery to Douglas the islands capital. A must for all railway enthusiasts! The Wildlife Park is a few minutes drive away and there is always a welcome there from the plethora of engaging wild animals. Of local attractions are Miltown Manor house, built by the same family as Bach House. It has the most beautiful and amazing gardens on the island. Also well worth a visit is the Victorian Grove Manor Museum. A walk into the 19th century, as if time had stood still. Both have nice tearooms. Ramsey is an excellent choice to base your visit to the Isle of Man, be it business or pleasure and is easily accessible to all parts of the island, being a twenty-minute drive over the spectacular mountain road or scenic coast route. The bus service is extensive as are the trains but for cycling or Motor biking there is nowhere better to start your tour. A visit to the Ayres Lighthouse, a gentle stroll round Mooragh Park or a demanding hike through the mountains and glens which are all within easy reach, all go to make Ramsey perfect for your visit to this beautiful and unspoiled island, as can be viewed in this You Tube clip : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwxQ9cyen64

    We know you will be delighted when you arrive at Close Taggart. These two gold award holiday cottages, Thie Rhennie ("House of Ferns") and Thie Lough ("House of the Lake") can be found well off the beaten track, deep in the countryside, about two miles from the nearest small supermarket, bus routes and village, and six from the nearest town (Ramsey). Thie Lough has one bedroom and provides the perfect setting for a special break for two. The owners live on site and will be on hand to greet you and provide any assistance you require, you will have total freedom to enjoy the extensive grounds of Close Taggart which includes a tree house and viewing platform high up in the trees, where you can sit and enjoy a complementary glass of wine. In addition, a further viewing platform provides fabulous views of the setting sun to the west. There is also a summerhouse for guests to use. The holiday cottages are a great base for nature lovers. The Curraghs where the cottages are located, is an area of wetland and a rich haven of biodiversity with rare flora and fauna. Wild wallabies, normally found in warmer climes, are also thriving here. The animals, native to Australia and Tasmania, have been flourishing ever since a pair escaped in the 1970s from the Curraghs wildlife park, a short distance from the cottages. Researchers believe now there are more than a 100 living in the wild. It is possible to see wallabies living in the wild on one of the short walks from the cottages. We are very willing to assist with mobility issues, but unfortunately we are unable to accommodate full time wheel chair users due to the layout of the cottage. You can park close to the entrance, with a gravel/grassed area and cobblestones leading to two small entrance steps. Inside the cottage the kitchen and lounge are on the ground floor with normal width stairs leading to the bedroom and bathroom on the first floor.     Having recently been refurbished throughout Apartment One at Amadeus apartments is available all year round for holiday, corporate and medium term lets. The Apartment is on the 1st floor. The apartment includes a king-size zip and link bed with a super comfy mattress and fresh white linen. There is a 42” Smart TV in the bedroom and lounge which has access to streaming sites such as Netflix. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the property and desks in each room all with charging points. The one-bedroom apartment has a comfy double sofa bed in the lounge, suitable for one adult or two children. The modern kitchen comes with built appliances including an oven, microwave, induction Hob, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is also a dining table. Included is one bathroom with a generously sized shower. The bathroom includes a heated towel rail and lighted glamour mirror. Families, couples, friends and solo travellers all love staying with us due in part to the central location, quiet area, beautiful garden square but also because of the close proximity to famous sporting destinations with The crown bowling green and the famous Isle of Man TT racing grandstand a stone's throw away. Also near is the gorgeous Villa Marina which hosts various events including Darts and poker competitions. The Cinema and Gaiety theatre are within walking distance, as are the bars and restaurants of Douglas. Douglas has a lot to offer culturally including the Manx Museum

    Our family home is located in the north part of the island, about 3 miles out of Ramsey town. We are completely surrounded by farmlands and the Sulby river boarders the north perimeter of our land. We have a small natural woodland close to the river and welcome our guests to freely walk the land and enjoy its beauty. At the road side of our property (200m down the driveway) we are very blessed to have one of the islands best restaurants, Cafe Rosa which offers fine dining Thursday to Sunday.
    The guest room in our house is part of the original cottage, it has been modernised since. The room is located away from all the other personal bedrooms, next to the kitchen, dining, utility area and the back door. Our guests are welcome in these areas as the rest of our house is for the family. For your convenience, your room has got a TV with built in DVD player and there are over 50 movies to choose from on the shelf. Breakfast can be served at any pre-arranged time.

    Whitestones sits approximately 1 mile to the North of Ramsey town centre. Located on the fringe of Mooragh Park - an iconic Victorian design including boating lake, water park, pitch & put, tennis courts, Costa, extensive footpaths, BMX track, rugby pitches and beautiful gardens. Ramsey is recognised as the sunniest area of the Isle of Man with beaches running from the North Pier all the way to the Point of Ayre, the very Northern tip of the Island. There are 2 piers, the iron pier built in 1886 and the stone pier. Ramsey's beaches run both north and south. The northern beach runs directly in front of Whitestones as does the Coastal footpath. The southern edge of Ramsey sees a network of footpaths including Elfin Glen, Maughold Head and the Ballure Reservior Walk - all of which are simply beautiful. Ramsey is one of the Island's largest towns. There is the Northern Swimming Pool by the iconic 'swing bridge' which is still in daily use, numerous cafes and restaurants, good shopping including a large number of independent traders. Ramsey also has its own walk in cottage hospital.

    'Breesha's Cottage' is a recently rescued traditional Manx stone cottage. In Ballaugh Village just 50m off the famous Ballaugh Bridge on the TT circuit, with fabulous views of the hills above Sulby Glen. A beautiful spot for relaxing, walking, cycling or watching the motorsports. A local shop just 50m away and a great pub at the end of the lane . A lovely quiet sandy/pebbly beach is 2 miles away and great walks in the hills just up the lane to the glen. IOM tourism registered- 4 star.
    Deceptively spacious 3 bedroom cottage on a quite road. Nice garden with views across fields to the hills above Sulby Glen beyond and a patio to relax. The cottage has recently been fully renovated from a derelict state and is now a registered property with the Isle of Man Tourist Board. We have spared no expense in retaining the character features of the cottage that we fell in love with. We haven't compromised on comfort though. There is an open fire in the lounge and a log burner in the dining room/snug area as well as central heating throughout. A fully stocked kitchen with all mod cons that you would expect. There is also wifi a TV with freeview and an Amazon Firestick, Bluetooth enabled sound system. We are in the process of registering as a 4 star property with the Isle of Man Tourist Board.     The neighbourhood is very friendly and quiet. At the end of the lane there is a great pub - the Raven that serves good food which is a 50m walk and directly across the road from this is the local village shop which sells just about everything you need. The nearest supermarket is in Ramsey which is about 6 or 7 miles away. The lovely quiet pebbly beach is around 2 miles away. Its not unusual to walk along it for an hour in either direction and see just 1 or two people. We normally see more seals than people! The house is situated on the road up to the glen where there is a plantation with family walks as well as tracks up onto the hills. There are tons of opportunities for longer walks. There are also loads of mountain biking tracks. If you want to watch the TT racing or Manx Grand prix then you won't be disappointed. The famous Ballaugh Bridge is just at the end of the lane. We are located on the inside of the course so you get 'locked inside' during the racing but handily you can get across to the mountain road by driving/cycling (if you're brave) up the road and across the mountain lanes to another fantastic viewing point.

    The Milking Parlour is a stunning barn conversion that adjoins a working farm, with breathtaking views across fields to the sea and the south west of Scotland. There is a large and light open-plan living area, with patio doors, and there are two comfortable leather sofas. The accommodation is all on one level and has easy access. There are two beautiful bedrooms - one double with an en-suite shower room and patio doors onto the terrace, and one twin with an en-suite bathroom with shower. There is a large and light open-plan living area, again with patio doors, and there are two comfortable leather sofas. The modern spacious kitchen has glossy cream units and includes a washer-dryer, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher. There is lovely wooden flooring and under-floor heating throughout. The views from all the windows are exceptional. The Milking Parlour is set in an enclosed shared courtyard, which is a real suntrap. It also provides plenty of space for parking. You can also enjoy shared use of the large tree lined lawn that is ideal for games and more picnics! The apartment includes a king-size zip and link bed with a super comfy mattress and fresh white linen. There is a 42” Smart TV in the bedroom and lounge which has access to streaming sites such as Netflix.
