New light & attractive tranquil studio, under the olive trees, with a delightful courtyard positioned to catch sun, but only a couple of minutes from the beaches and hustle of restaurants and bars, the choice is yours. Clean, comfortable & convenient
Brand new studio set alongside my picturesque pink cottage in the privacy of the North West back garden, only a few minutes walk to the beaches, award wining cafes, bars and vineyards.
There are two studios, Tahi and Rua, Tahi with a Queen bed and Rua with a super king which can convert to 2 King singles for an additional $35.00 per visit, paid on arrival. Both rooms have their own fridge, kettle, toaster, heated towel rails, clothes hanging space, small table and chairs and Freeview TV. Your own private sunny courtyard with cafe style table and chairs to enjoy your breakfast or glass of wine in the evening. A heater is available when the temperatures drop during the cooler months.
BREAKFAST A healthy continental breakfast providing you with the sustenance to set you up whilst you explore the island. Alternatively if you require something more substantial a quick stroll into the village to the many cafes will not disappoint
A few outside steps to access your bathroom shared with your Rua neighbour
Although I am 'mature' I am extremely active and very easy to get along with. . . the perfect blend for a host happily giving you the privacy or socialising and providing guests with any information that I can when I am around during the day
All of Waiheke Island are on Septic tanks and tank water. Septic tanks means that only body waste and toilet paper go down the toilet and we really appreciate when guests try to conserve water by being conscious of their usage.
In the summer months we recommend you bring some insect repellent for sitting outside in the evenings
Check-in 3.00pm with a 10.30am check out. Please advise, once bookings are confirmed, your approximate arrival time.
Noise consideration for neighbors
Nothing other than body waste and toilet paper down the toilet.
I enjoy a myriad of activities, from the physical- tennis, skiing, cycling, travel, gardening to the sedate-reading, socialising, wining and dining, movies and music. Hosting guests will be fun and interesting although, I haven't done this before, being a mother of 3 children in their 20's and 30's with their amazing endless friends staying must qualify me. Also having holiday houses in both the North Island and South we always had guests. My knowledge of both Islands should help any tourists wishing to travel throughout NZ-forgive my bias towards the Mainland as that is where my roots are! I will be just as happy giving any guests the space they may crave as I am with anything social. It's up to you!
