One minute away from Washington Park, this cute row house is within walking distance of some of downtown Cincinnati's best local hot spots.
Washington Park hosts events weekly like a movie night on the lawn and there's even a bar onsite. It's within walking distance of a year-round farmer's market called Findlay Market. You can try new restaurants, bars and coffee shops. We are also on street car line.
Hard wood floors and exposed brick give this home a ton of character!
The house dates to the 1840's and was lovingly restored in 2012. The historical features were preserved, while adding a modern kitchen, bath, and laundry facilities. The house maintains its original layout -- 4 rooms, each with its own fireplace. The outdoor area is fenced in, spacious, and allows for sitting outside and listening to the sounds of Washington Park.
Guests will have the whole house to themselves. This includes laundry in the basement, and access to the back yard. Guests also have free access to wireless internet.
Guests will have the whole house to themselves -- however, we are always on call in case a guest needs to reach us!
Because it's an historic home, the stairs to the 2nd floor are a bit steep! If you have bad knees, the stairs might be difficult to navigate.
There is a futon in the living room that can be used to accommodate a 3rd (and possibly a 4th) person.
Construction is going on in the morning on our beautiful Music Hall. Sometimes it can get noisy but isn't so bad in the bedroom. Our south-facing windows actually get the most of it.
The backyard is overgrown right now! We apologize for the inconvenience as it is a pity we can't utilize it, but we spend our time in Washington Park anyway.
Pets are not allowed.
No smoking indoors.
Wipe counters after each use.
Wipe up any water that escapes from shower onto wood floors.
Don't take out trash when you leave.
Hi! My name is Danny and I love Cincinnati. I renovated this 150+ year old building and now and I want to share it, and my favorite city, with you.
I'm passionate about the revitalization of Cincinnati's historic Over-the-Rhine, and have been actively involved in it for years. Most of my days are spent working toward that end!
I'm also engaged to be married, enjoy sports, playing and listening to music, and going on long hikes.
