Approach King Charles Quay via New Street, taking the first right onto Quay Hill, straight down the hill crossing Arwenack Street (one way traffic coming from your left) then down Quay Street past the Chain Locker pub. King Charles Quay is on your left through an archway (2.2m wide at mirror height and 2.05m wide at tyre height) see photo.
Please note you MUST reverse into King Charles Quay from Quay Street. It will help to have someone behind your vehicle guide the driver through the first time. Keep to the right through the archway and steer to the right when your back wheels clear the arch. It may seem a little daunting the first time you try, but we have taken our Subaru Outback Legacy estate car through on many occasions. Our car is 4730 mm long & 2030 mm wide. Other guests have driven an E-class Mercedes estate car through. We have also guided the plumber and a British Gas engineer through in their Transit vans. For those unable to get through the arch (or with more than 1 car) we have one space (included in the rental cost), a parking space is provided on the adjacent North Quay. Additional spaces on the North Quay can also be purchased from Falmouth Haven at £8 per day.
We have a local housekeeping team, part of a fantastic company, run by Katie. We also have a local chef who can cater at the house if required.
There is a Tourist Information office a few hundred yards away in Killigrew Street.

2. This is our home, we know you'll love the antiques and the rococo furniture and other design pieces of furniture around the house and we know guests appreciate this and will look after them.
I am an ex Company Director, recently retired and currently enjoying life by the sea. Our stunning home is now available to rent. My favourite restaurants (Falmouth) are Olivers and the Wheelhouse - both amazing. I never get tired of the view and there is always lots of activity on the water. We have a housekeeper, Katie who keeps the house in tip top condition and can organise trips, chefs to cook for you and much more for those who stay at Nightingale.
