Cozy 2 room apartment in a quiet green neighborhood with cafés, design boutiques & the lakes just around the corner. The city center & Nørrebro are a 10 min bike ride away - sometimes, I might also be able to lend you a bike if you let me know beforehand
High ceilings and a big window front make this classic Østerbro apartment a sunny, bright and cozy place with enough space for three visitors exploring Copenhagen.
My whole apartment: a cozy bedroom with double bed, bright & light living room with open plan kitchen (renovated 5 years ago), as well as an older bathroom with sitting bathtub (the water pressure is not that high, but I have long hair and still manage to wash and rinse it properly)If you like, you can also borrow my guest bike. A third person can easily sleep in the living room on a comfy air bed.
Unless specified otherwise, I will be greeting you at my apartment when you arrive, and see you off when you leave. During your stay I'll be available by phone and email- and if you let me know what you are interested in, I will of course also gladly give you some recommendations for nice bars, good restaurants and other great places to explore Copenhagen.
This is an older building, so you might hear some noise from the neighbors - you will have free wifi and thereby also access to use my B&O PLAY A9 loudspeaker which can play QUITE loud ;) please be considerate.
Check-In is between 9-17.00, if you arrive later I reserve the right to cancel your booking or might have to charge you a late check-in fee since I will be out traveling myself. Check-In by keybox requires you to get back to me and confirm check-in (or delay in arrival) within 1hr after communicated planned arrival time, otherwise I will have to charge you an additional 500kr.
Since this is the first home I own, I've put all my heart and hard renovating work into it - having lived in 4 different countries in the past 7 years, I know how much of a difference it makes to stay in a place that feels like home. I hope that all my guests will honour this and feel just as at home here as I do. There is no cleaning fee, but I ask you to respect a few simple things upon checkout:
- Please don't smoke in the apartment or on the back stairs.
- Please take down your trash from bathroom & kitchen to the backyard, you can access it via the backstairs
- Please put your sheets and towels in the laundry bag
- Please clean the dishes, either by hand or using the dishwasher
- Please take off your shoes
- Please clean toothpaste stains wherever you left them (mirror, shelves, sink)
- Please double-check you have switched off all appliances
- Before you leave, please open one of the top windows a little bit (unless it's winter and/or stormy)
- No parties or additional guests in the apartment please
A French/German redhead settling in cozy Copenhagen after stints in the UK and Italy, I head up social media at a luxury AV brand, but my true love is art and travelling. From Hammershøi to Hirst, I love spending Sunday afternoons in museums and galleries and travelling abroad to see exhibitions, attend concerts and immerse myself in the vibe of another country and city. A metropolis girl, I'm a big fan of New York, London, Berlin&Paris (where I have family) and Milan, where I used to live while studying and working in fashion.
As someone who gives 200% for all things that I'm passionate about (both in my job and private projects, such as photography and my (currently slightly unattended) blog, a Berlin/Copenhagen city guide), I also love to go to quiet, remote and deserted places, taking time to slow down, have long walks along the beach/in the forest, have a cozy night in with a glass of wine and good food (I love cooking) and recharge those batteries for the next adventure.
I love having guests over at my apartment, which I bought in April 2014, and so I thought that after some great airbnb experiences I should give it a go and host on airbnb myself :)
