High atop a ridge, washed by Pacific trade winds, you'll find comfort in the furnishings, spectacular views, and convenient location close to the coast yet near the town of Pahoa. Rest, relax, read, or stare into the calm expanse of sky and sea.
A stay at the MacNut Farm House makes it possible to experience an authentic Hawaii different from the typical resort environments many visitors encounter. Guests have most of the creature comforts that make for a vacation experience while living on their own 7 acre piece of paradise.
During your stay you will have full access to our 6+ acre property most of which is an orchard with over 500 macadamia nut trees. Our caretaker, Mat, who lives on the property is available to answer questions about local resources as well as address other needs that might come up during your stay.
I live in San Francisco and won't be on the property during your stay. Mat, however, will be there, available by cell phone and I can also be reached if there are concerns he is unable to address.
We are "off the grid" in our location which means all our electricity is provided by our solar power system. There is also no land line so you should check with your cell phone carrier to see if service is available. We do have WiFi available in and around the Farm House. W64323101-01
