This delightful 423 sq.ft. 1937 cottage is located in the heart of Grand Junction close to downtown, St.Mary's hospital, popular restaurants and ample shopping opportunities. We are only minutes away from Colorado National Monument. It is convenient to Amtrak, Two Rivers Convention Center and Grand Junction Regional Airport. On a historic street is the carriage house that I have called Sycamore Cottage. A huge old noble Sycamore tree is a focal point in your backyard among other lovely views.
This quaint 1930's cottage has been lovingly restored to reflect my eclectic personality. My love for design and repurposing old antiques mixed with new shows throughout.
Guests will have access to the whole cottage and the spacious backyard behind them leading to a mini orchard complete with a 30 foot grapevine tunnel. The interior of the cottage has tall ceilings in the main living area and your bedroom has a low intimate ceiling. This is what makes for a cozy feeling. You have your own private patio with a propane B-B-Q grill and an 11 ft. canopy LED umbrella with comfy patio chairs.
I will greet you upon arrival or if something comes up a co host will. I love meeting my guests and interact as much as I can. Hospitality is in my blood. I ran my Victorian Rose bed and breakfast for almost 20 years in Ouray, Colorado. I am indeed a people person but I respect your privacy...
