I've grabbed dinner/drinks with some of my prior hosts and told them I'd return the favor when I have a space of my own. At the same time, I work from 8am-7pm and sometimes will not even be around. Available when needed and don't mind socializing or leaving guests to explore the city when desired.
The home is a 10 minute drive away from Center City.
The airport and sporting arenas are 15 minutes away by car.
The 17 bus ($2 cash) is a short walk away from the house on the corner of 20th Street and Morris. You can ride straight to Market Street and 13th Street to be in the middle of Center City in less than 20 minutes.
Uber is also an option to get around town. The Uber pool option is typically less than $5 for groups of 2 or less to get to Center City. For those who have not used it, it's a ride sharing application available on your phone. Sign up now to claim a free $15 gift from me. Feel free to text me for first time users, my invite code is: kmom
If you plan on staying a month, please provide a link to your FBook or LinkedIn account so that we can become more familiar with one another. Thanks!

Ahh this is such a great site! I've been using Airbnb to tour the world for the past few years and finally decided to give hosting a try!
I'm currently an Associate at a large institution in Philadelphia. I relocated from Atlanta, but I grew up in Alabama and Colorado. I plan on doing quite a bit of traveling/hosting for the next few years. Looking forward to meeting some of you and creating new memories!
I'll have to get back to you on the favorite movie...there are so many good ones! My favorite city to visit domestically was Chicago and internationally, it's a tie between Istanbul, Turkey and Naples, Italy. I know...they're pretty different :)
My favorite book is by far the Alchemist. If you haven't read it, I suggest you look into it.
“Don't think about what you've left behind" The alchemist said to the boy as they began to ride across the sands of the desert. "If what one finds is made of pure matter, it will never spoil. And one can always come back. If what you had found was only a moment of light, like the explosion of a star, you would find nothing on your return.”
