This apartment is lovely, with a beautiful view of the ocean, and is very well equipped with towels and cooking equipment. Alejandra was there to meet us, and responded quickly to my texts regarding how to work the TV and where to get water (you order a 5 gallon jug of filtered water from a market across the street, and hook it to the refrigerator via a connection under the kitchen sink). She also left us a few delicious snacks. The complex is extremely well staffed and well kept (even the beach is raked daily), with an excellent restaurant on the premises and a large sandy private beach. It is also very secure. We were given plastic wristbands that proved we were legitimate guests, and security is everywhere, even on the beach. While there are several good restaurants and small markets nearby (within walking distance) if you like to cook, you will need a car or taxi to get supplies (especially fresh produce) in the larger town of Boca Chica. Taxis are not cheap, and run about $50-60 for a round trip journey to a large grocery store. In all, it was a peaceful holiday in a beautiful, safe location, with attentive and helpful hosts.
