I'm known as a friendly and easy going person (I hope I am – I work as a psychotherapist), and I’m usually easily available for assistance or advice if needed. I speak English and Hebrew fluently and German and Dutch moderately and my wife speaks French as well. I can get by in Russian but you will have to speak very slowly!
When guests ask for something, I generally go out of my way to accommodate them. I’m sometimes available for a coffee and a chat - with suggestions on where to go and what to do, but if guests want privacy, I totally stay away from any interaction.
I may also be available for an airport pickup but that has to be pre-arranged.
We emphasise that we offer guaranteed free unlimited street parking, one of our biggest attractions, since parking in the Bondi Beach area is very very difficult and very very expensive. Please bear that in mind when you make your booking decision.
Your Studio looks out onto your courtyard. You do not have sea views from the Studio but you do have full panoramic views coming up to the house and accessing the walkway to the back where the Studio is situated and it is this view that is commented on by nearly all guests.
Your booking costs include a cleaning of charge of $105 of which $75 is for floor-washing, vacuuming, and full cleaning of the unit, kitchen area and bathroom, and a laundry fee of $25 for the cleaning and pressing of towels, bath-mat, sheets and pillow-cases. $5 goes towards replacing, every 4 months, the white rug in front of your bed!
Your bed will feel crisp and new when you arrive!
1. Bus 389, is just 90 seconds away, & other bus-lines are 4 minutes away.
2. Popular cafe/eatery, laundry service, pharmacy, medical facility, bottle store, convenience store are all between 3 and 5 minutes away by foot.
3. Bondi Beach with a wide range of restaurants and facilities is just a 10 minute stroll, as is the famous Bondi-Bronte walk.
We offer you an arrival in Sydney with a prepaid bus/train pass in your pocket even before you exit passport control ! Ask us how.
A cellphone that works here? Either purchase your own simcard at the airport (around $20 with airtime and 1GB of data) or use ours for your entire stay, for $10. If you come from a country with a different system to ours, we can offer you a phone on arrival at Bondi Views Studio.
Want to rent a bicycle, electric bike or a scooter? Ask us how!

Maximum number of people in Studio is 2 people only.
No overnight guests allowed.
DAMAGE: Any damages caused by you will be charged for under the security bond. We especially mention stains and damage to sheets, towels, duvet covers and the rug. We have unfortunately had experiences with guests who have damaged towels with hair bleach, or sheets/duvet covers with wine or food stains, and they have taken the view that the stain is 'not too bad' and should not be charged for. You would not like to move into the Studio with 'not too bad' stains on your sheets or towels and we would not give you stained linen. So, just as you can expect crisp newly laundered and pristinely ironed linen when you check-in, please expect to be billed for an entire set of new towels (since they come in sets), or replacement sheet or duvet cover, or replacement rug, or any other type of damage which you may cause. In all our time of being Airbnb hosts, we have only once claimed for damage (towels ruined by bleach) but we will claim if we have to.
LATE CHECK-OUT: Check-out time is 10.00am. Sometimes we can arrange a late check-out at no extra charge (and we often happily do this depending on when the next guests are due to arrive). However, if this is not pre-arranged and you check-out between 10.00am and 12.00noon, we WILL charge you for a half-day stay. Anything beyond 12.00noon will incur a full day's charge. We know that the vast majority of guests are responsible and 'follow-the-rules' but we have had cases where we get a sudden sms at 2.00am from guests who inform us that they won't be able to vacate by 10.00am. In this kind of situation, we will wake you up and get you out to ensure that we have time to arrange properly for new guests, and we will charge you accordingly.
Our last 2 rules have been introduced as a result of our largesse having been taken advantage of in the past.
If you are happy with our house rules, please book and enjoy your stay with us - we're delighted to host you.

I am a former lawyer, now practicing psychotherapist since 2001.
I love music - Bach, Bach and more Bach, but I do love other composers too! And I love jazz - so there!
I actively work, 6 days a week, in a challenging and rewarding profession seeing a variety of people who actually think I can help them!! Apart from clients, I also run personal development groups and do couples and relationship counselling with a colleague.
I also love riding motor bikes and have a 150cc scooter to get around on, as well as a big BMW motor-bike for long weekend rides.
I have a wide experience of life, having lived in 3 different countries, the last of which is Australia which was generous and gracious enough to offer my family and me permanent residence in 1997.
I am married and my wife is an artist who creates beautiful paintings, exhibits widely locally and internationally and for lucky guests, some of her wonderful work is hung in the studio.
I have 3 adult sons, a pending grandchild (our first) from my amazing middle son, who is a talented pianist and who runs a music school, Play Music, which he and his wife founded together, and in which both are extensively involved.
My oldest son is looking at an imminent marriage to a wonderful Japanese woman - a complete mystery to me even after 3 years - who has captivated all of us and with whom we still spend hours attempting to cross a vast cultural gap. Apart from planning his life, he occasionally does some visual effects work and computer graphics and it was he who did the talked-about Battle of the Bastards in the latest series of Game of Thrones. He also was extensively involved in the huge crowd scenes in Mad Max - Fury Road, a couple of years ago.
My baby (will turn 32 this year), fled the coop to start his own self-storage business in Melbourne, and today he and his partner run Taxibox Pty Ltd a prominent Australian self-storage company. He lives in Melbourne with his girlfriend.
