Small apartment next to National Museum, quiet neighborhood, 2 minutes away from the flourishing Badaro street with its bars. Easy to access, and transportation easily accessible to all the regions. Big terrace, simple genuine people.
Samah's place is right next to the Beirut museum, there's a lot of soldiers hanging around in the neighbourhood but don't let that worry you, the military hospital is just round the corner. The balcony is huge, and the area is very quiet at night, similarly in the early morning the flat is not adjacent to any main roads so sleeping in is not an issue. The flat has everything you need and you will feel very safe there. Samah is also a great host, despite not being in the flat during my stay, Samah went above and beyond in arranging transport and providing all necessary information. Any questions I had were responded to by Samah clearly and in a timely fashion with an added pinch of a good sense of humour.
Staying with Samah was a fantastic experience. The apartment is quiet and breezy which are both luxury in Beirut. It is also located close to 2 of the main bus routes. Samah is an amazing host who interacts and looks after her guests and makes you feel comfortable instantly. Any 'review' could not do it justice. Thanks a million!
It was a gift to stay at Samah´s place, and to share these 3 weeks with her. She came to pick me up in the airport, incvited me to her family place, taught me many Lebanese cuisine receipies and many things about Lebanon, ... she treated me like her sister... The apartment is bright and central, and it has a wonderful terrace where to chill out and read, talk, listen to the music, enjoy the sunset, etc... I felt at home. Even I started meeting the neighbours, which were as well lovely. It was a great experience. If you want to be lucky and live like Lebanese people do, experience the warmness of these people, stay at Samah's place. Thank you so much for everything Samah!
