Cozy cabin on Bang Lake (also called Long Lake) in northern Minnesota, south of Duluth just off MN-210. Its the perfect spot to enjoy time away from the city and see natures wonders.

The cabin is decorated in knotty pine wood. Its living room has a vaulted ceiling with fan. There is a queen bed and futon on the first floor. The loft has two single beds. The 3/4 bathroom is on the first floor.

The lake has about two dozen cabins on one side. The other side has no cabins and is completely natural. Its the perfect spot to enjoy time away from the city and see natures wonders.

The cabin is located on the lake. You will have access to swim and enjoy the wonders of the lake. There is also a canoe, rowboat, paddleboat and some water toys.

KITCHEN: You are renting a fully appointed cabin with standard appliances including microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and all standard pots, pans, dishes etc. The cabin will have some standard pantry items in the cupboards and fridge which guests are free to use provided they are replaced when low/gone.

DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT - A reservation deposit of $150 is required through the Airbnb system. It is fully refundable provided the following provisions are met.
•No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
•No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
•All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in garbage can, and soiled dishes are cleaned.
•All keys are left in the lockbox and the unit's doors and windows are left locked.
•All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
•No linens are lost or damaged.
•No early check-in or late checkout.
•No property of the cabin in lost or damaged
•No damage is done by any pets
•The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, or the security company employed by the owner.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of guests is limited to six (6) persons. There is one queen bed, two single beds and one futon.

PETS - Pet are allowed with an additional cleaning fee of $25 each. Keep pets under your control at all times. Please pets off furniture and beds.

LAWN MOWING -- Please be aware that the home's lawn may be mowed during your stay.

MINIMUM STAY – This property requires a two night minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods.

INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen & towel setup.

NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate.

RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice.

FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.

WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in the Airbnb system in advance.

PARKING – Parking is limited to three (3) vehicles. Vehicles are to be parked in driveway. Do not park in from of the garage to allow removal of lawn care and other equipment. Any fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

LAKEFRONT - No person under the age of 18 are permitted to use the lake / beachfront without an adult in attendance. No lifeguards are provided. Use of the lake/waterfront/dock facilitates are at the users sole discretion and the owner assumes no responsibility whatsoever for their use and agrees to hold harmless the owner for such use. The beach is uneven which can be slippery. Sharp shells and rocks may be present. Some row boats may be available for your use. Lifejackets are available. Use at your own risk.

HEATING - There is an electric wall heater that may be used to heat the cabin. It is push button operated. Turn the heat dial for the desired temperature.

FIREPLACES – The indoor fireplace (during colder months) is a gas log wood burning firebox. Do not throw anything in the fireplace. Outdoor fireplaces are for your convenience. You will be supplied with a small amount of wood. Additional firewood can be purchased.

WATER AND SEPTIC – This cabin is on a well and septic/holding tank systems. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages --YOU AGREE TO ALERT THE OWNER IMMEDIATELY IF YOU SUSPECT ANY ISSUE RELATED TO WATER OR SEPTIC SYSTEMS. Please note that it may be necessary to have the tanks pumped during your stay at no cost to you. There is a septic alarm located in the bathroom. Please notify owner should it alarm.

STORM POLICY– No refunds will be given for storms or consequences from storms that are beyond the owners control. These include power outages, road closures, etc.. Gravel drives are maintained throughout the season; however, we highly recommend four wheel drive during the snow months. We do not provide refunds due to weather or its effects. Cabin users agree to inform themselves--to their satisfaction--regarding safety procedures acceptable to them should any dangerous weather on or near the property be encountered. All guests hold owner harmless for any injuries related to acts of nature including weather events.

SECURITY SYSTEMS: The cabin is protected by locked doors and may include outside cameras. No codes will be needed.

LOFT – Two twin sized beds are located in the loft area of the cabin. The loft is accessible by a 7' ladder and is not suitable for all guests and or young is an open sleeping loft --there is a decorative railing--and guests agree to use it at their sole discretion.

WIRELESS network/associated services -- A wireless network is currently not supplied.

ETIQUETTE - When staying please remember that you are part of a community of cabins. People are generally reserved and are looking for some time with nature and the opportunity to rest and relax. Please be mindful of this and try to limit noise past 10 PM on weekdays and 11 PM on weekends.

Bonnie is such a great host, so friendly and kind and great with our kids. They just loved meeting her. The cabin was so great, beautiful views, lots of fun games and toys for kids. Great fishing for everyone either from dock or boats. Bonnie does a great job making the place feel like it's your home on the lake. She also provided plenty of snacks and the basic cooking staples so we could easily prepare some meals, and yes we ate the delicious fish several times from the lake!

Our family of three (mom, dad, 3-year old) enjoyed a lovely weekend vacation at this cozy, clean, and comfy cabin. We felt very welcomed and it was just like our little home for the weekend. The owner was always accessible yet gave us our space, and gave us access to a variety of lawn games, a pedal boat and canoe, and toys for our toddler to enjoy on the beautiful lawn and lake. The cabin is stocked with everything you might need for cooking, comfy beds, lots of clean linens, and an assortment of pantry items. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the firepit, grilling on the deck, and waking up to an amazing sunrise over the lake. The lake is very quiet and serene, and yet the location is not too far of a drive from Cloquet, Carlton, Moose Lake, or Duluth, and there is plenty to do if you want to get out of the cabin. A great place to stay, and a great value!

Bonnie was incredibly easy to communicate with. She answered each text I sent within minutes! The cabin was cozy and so welcoming. Anything we might have needed but forgotten, was there! The property was beautiful and we were able to go both swimming and boating during our short 3 day stay. 6 guests might be a bit cramped on a rainy day, but we were 4, and it was perfect!

Bonnie was such a great host. Check-in and out was a breeze and she was only a text away when we had questions. The cabin was super cozy and clean, perfect for our little family. Being right on the lake and having a fire-pit were just the cherries on top. We were only a short drive from Jay Cook and Deluth and had a wonderful stay. We couldn't have picked a better spot to get away from the cities. I can't rave enough!

Bonnie, the host, was very responsive, sent detailed directions on how to find the place and was available to answer questions. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Just what we needed for a long weekend. The main floor is one big room with kitchen, table, living space and a queen bed that can be shut off with curtains. It isn't big but didn't feel small with three people who weren't in need of a ton of privacy. There is a loft with a pull down ladder with two additional beds and overview of main floor-so very open. The lake side all windows/glass doors and provides a beautifyl view. It is quiet and low key. Great place to relax, floating on the water, by the fire pit, on the deck or dock. I would definitely go back!
