Welcome in a quiet garden in city-center, (close to the train station, Old Port, Metro and Mucem). I would be glad to receive you with homemade bread for your breakfast on the terrace, in the shade of the orange tree, in a rare calm in town :)
A comfortable bed of 160 cm in a neat and atypical bedroom backyard will allow you to rest between visits to Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde, the Mucem and the Calanques.
You have a nice room, very quiet, with a door window overlooking the two hundred-year-old fig tree, old Marseille's floor tiles (the tomettes are original and therefore sometimes damaged but washed before each guest) Desk and a real queen size bed. The bed is prepared with a pair of sheets sometimes embroidered with my grandmother's initials (thank you for sleeping into the bed sheets and not between the top sheet and the duvet :)
Your room in the "house of background" of the flat (typical Marseille's building in the 19th century) it is right next to the bathroom.
Two drawers in the chest of drawers and a carrying case will allow you to store your belongings.
Kitchen (gas cooker, microwave, utensils and space in the fridge) and bathroom (with walk-in shower) are at your disposal throughout your stay.
A shelf in the shared bathroom is reserved for you to store your toilet stuff. The shower being fed by a hot water balloon, thank you to share this resource with the other inhabitants of the house :) Sometimes a small insect invites the garden in the bathroom, I apologize in advance.
Breakfast is available with tea or coffee, homemade bread and jam, milk and fruit juice. The terrace will allow you to eat outside, in peace and under the orange tree.
There is no dishwasher, please clean and store your dishes :)
You will also find suitable sandals for access to the courtyard (for madam and sir) and an anti mosquito plug.
You are welcome to play the piano, if you wish!
Psychologist, long adherent of the route of the salts, I often shared my apartment, always with pleasure and interest for the people met. I would do my best to accommodate you with kindness and respect.
I live in the house with my daughter (she, every other week). Discreet but attentive, my 48 years spent in Marseille will allow me to give you advice, if you wish.
