A simple delicious breakfast and hot drink supplies also await. The perfect place for a stopover on your road trip, or to set up as a central base!

Tongariro NP (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is just over 45 mins away. Perfect for hiking in summer, or snow fun in winter. Central towns, such as Whanganui and Palmerston North are just over an hour away. Further afield are Napier (2hrs), Taupo (2 hrs), and Wellington (3hrs) making Taihape the perfect central pitstop.

A five minute drive or a stroll along the lakefront will get you into town. We’re a few minutes walk from the Botanical Gardens and the lakefront :-)

Located just a 5-minute walk to the lake in the heart of Kinloch Village. An inviting fireplace offers cozy warmth on chilly evenings. A King-sized bed with crisp linens and plush pillows awaits.
