Come and enjoy the lovely view of historic Crystal Lake from our hilltop home. Crystal Lake has been a part of East Texas history since it opened as a speakeasy in 1920. These days, you won't find flappers but you will find birds of a feather and other wildlife including bald eagles, blue birds and otters. We even have a train! Walk the nature trails down to the lake or fish at nearby Toledo Bend. Your home base is outfitted in vintage western style. Lights out and the stars come out.

Plan a trip to the tip of Toledo Bend/Sabine River area. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is fully equipped for short-term visits. Plenty of beds to sleep a family of 6 (or 3 - 4 adults) comfortably. We have a full, spacious kitchen and have provided you with your basic necessities. With a nearby public boat ramp, you can bring your boat and launch whenever you are ready for a weekend fishing trip. Toledo Bend is a perfect spot to explore the Texas and Louisiana wildlife and scenery. NO PETS.

When you need a break from your hectic schedule, the Heart of Huxley Bay is the place to go. All the bases are covered here. Take a swim, cast a line, jump in your boat, or one of the two provided kayaks from the private pier. Bring your toys! We have a large boat/RV carport with power hookups to keep them protected. Relax around the firepit or screened-in patio! If you must, work at the dedicated workstation. The pups are welcome and even have their own fenced run.
