Hummingbird Cottage in Quiet Residential Arbor Heights

We are 20 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from downtown with easy access to the beaches at Alki and Lincoln Park. Your quiet backyard refuge is newly remodeled with everything you’ll need for a weekend or a month. We are just a half block from the bus stop and access to Seattle’s great transit system. Whether you’re here for Business, visiting family, or on holiday, Hummingbird cottage should fill the bill. You have off street parking and the entire space to yourself, with laundry facilities and a full kitchen at your disposal. If you need a highchair or pack-n-play crib for your little one just let us know. I’ll be here to greet you (unless you come in very late), in which case I’ll give you the code for our August Bluetooth lock to get in when you arrive. We’re only 50 feet away if you need us but will give you your space if you don’t. Arbor Heights is a tranquil neighborhood halfway between the airport and downtown, plus only a few minutes from grocery stores, restaurants. and parks with amazing views. Alki and Lincoln Park beaches are also easily accessible. Seattle is a good city to get around in by car but if you’re going downtown you might want to leave the car and catch the 21 bus to save the parking hassle and cost.

This is a paradise in the city - a cozy getaway when you need to relax; just 5-10 minutes walking from the best West Seattle has to offer along with easy access to parks, beaches, and restaurants, venues, and tourism downtown. You will have your own private: entrance, patio, two-person sauna, room (bed, TV, and work desk), bathroom with heated floors, and kitchenette. *Note - this is the private 1st floor of our home, completely separated by floors and doors.

Great for solo travelers, remote workers, or couples.

Across the street is the 21-bus line which connects to Downtown Seattle, Pike Place Market, Lumen Field, and T-mobile Park. The West Seattle Golf Course and West Seattle Nursery are mins away. Easy access to 509/99/I5 and a short drive to SEA-TAC airport. Free Parking on the driveway. Also, the wifi at over 400mbps is perfect for remote work.

Conveniently located just 15 min south of downtown and 15 north of the airport.
