Looking for some quiet and solitude our cabin is located in the country sitting on 20 acres of wooded land with walking trails, wildlife, and solitude. But we are still just a short drive to nearby communities for numerous activities to enjoy. We have kayaks and a canoe for rent enjoy an evening on a nearby lake watching the sunset and listening to the loons or enjoy some fishing from the kayak. In the winter enjoy our Outdoor Sauna, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, x-country skiing, or ice fishing.

In the winter enjoy the cozy fireplace, ice fishing, snowmobile trails and proximity to Detroit Mountain ski hill. Great for a large family. 3 hours from Maple Grove and 65 min from Fargo. Hello! We're a small town local MN family hoping to share our getaway with others to make memories in. Nestled in acres of woods by a peaceful lake, this cabin contains plenty of amenities to have special moments with your family. Whether it be enjoying a game of cornhole while grilling a steak, taking the kayak out for fishing, or staying indoors next to the fire place! PLEASE BE AWARE, there is a cabin directly next to this one on the north side, that we share a driveway with.

Winter time favorites in the area include snowmobiling, skiing & snowboarding, ice skating, ice fishing, cross country skiing, and bingo nights at Billy's Bar in local town of Vergas.

Carpenter's Cabin

Unique year-round cabin! Perfect for a couples get-away or for a family of up to four. During the summer, enjoy a bonfire, kayaking, and outdoor games. During the winter, come back to a warm cabin and play board games by the fireplace after a full day of snowmobiling or other outdoor activities. Dry your winter gear in a separate warming house/game room featuring a pool table and dart board!
