We will smell our 30 best scent bases that I created from raw materials, and we'll share our feelings and emotions. CLASS SCHEDULE: first time,We will enjoy a tea and you'll listen to a 15-minute introduction on Minhwa (the Korean folk art) before we begin to draw our pictures. The folk painting will be divided into three stages: first, you'll pick a prepared Minhwa and you'll draw by tracing it on the Hanji (Korean paper) . After this, we'll do the coloring. During this process, you'll use oriental paints and learn the unique coloring technique of Minhwa. Lastly, you'll do the Nanggwan (signing) and draw your name in the picture. After you have finished painting, we'll take a photo and pack your painting safely to take home. With research, I came up with the simplest route to save your precious travel time. We will only need 4 hours instead of the normal 6 hours, while still conquering the summit. The ascending part of the hike will have an elevation change of 600 meters (2,000 ft) within 2.1 km (1.3 miles) which normally takes around 100~120 minutes. You will need to be moderately fit to finish this hike. Imagine if you could go up-and-down 200 floors of stairs :) The highlight, Baek-un-dae peak, will require some amount of 25~45 degree-angle climbing, always aided by ropes. If you have a fear of heights, this 20~30 minute part can be avoided by having a break. (Optional. Paid by individuals. 9000~15000 KRW for lunch) After the hike, we will eat at a place specializing in tofu dishes. They make everything from scratch. It may change your perspective of tofu. Hi. I am Helen Jeongju Kim. In this workshop, I will not only teach you how to write beautifully, but also how to experience the joy of carving a handcrafted seal. You will create a design using your name. During this activity, your mind will relax and you will experience healing through the slow analog, tactile sensibility of everyday life. I will teach you how to design and carve your name with a engraving knife on a small stone. First, I shows two ways to engrave the seal and demonstrates how to carve with a carving knife.(straight line, circle, etc.) Then I helps you learn to hold the engraving tool and practice properly. Next, I show the way to design the names and help to design according to syllable of name. You go for it and then cover with ink of Korean style and take a stamp. Once the engraving is over, you can choose a elegant case for your stone seal. It will be an opportunity to rethink the meaning of your name that you have forgotten while carving the seal. When you return home, you'll enjoy looking at the stamp you carved and remembering your travels. I'll write down a message for you in K-calligraphy after you have stamp your seal on a postcard I prepare. Public transportation is convenient. Other things to note -The name stone is not as hard as you think. -Even a 10-year-old can use a tool to carve an own seal.

If you wish to learn the whole 1st chorus, pls tell me in advance. 3. We will shoot a video with your phone! We can try as many times as long as the time permits. 4. Go out to the streets and explore the streets of Seoul and get some delicious Korean food! ※ Food and drinks all included in the price ※ 5. I love hiking! I solo hiked in Kilimanjaro, Himalayas, Fuji, Alps, Olympus and more. I have led a hiking club for over 2 years. Since I like to meet new people and learn about different cultures, I traveled more than 40 countries, mostly alone. I do not hike fast in any mountain. The mountain usually takes 5-6 hours including a temple visit. ***We take a taxi to/from the trail head from/to the subway station to shorten the time. (Taxi is included) I believe if you try to hike there less than 5 hours, you need to hurry yourself too much. Please don't try to conquer the summit when you hike any mountain. While we enjoy the nature, we will happily meet the summit. :-) Born and raised in Seoul, and lived in 5 other countries. After I moved back to Korea I realized there are many beautiful mountains here! Bukhansan is the only national park in Seoul. We hike to the highest peak, Baekundae (837m). It offers breathtaking scenery. Also visit old Buddhist temples including Doseonsa, established in 862 in Silla Kingdom. If we are early enough, we can also have Buddhist vegetarian food in the temple! Near the peak we walk along Bukhansanseong fortress.
