I’ll help you navigate the various Police & Stewarding controls and find the best point of entry as many access points are closed. Inside we'll be close to the action, a perfect view of the game, and just as importantly, the Ultra fan groups. The Barra Brava are often illicit organised fan groups and a key to the occasion. We will be at a safe distance to see them at work, while not getting too close. Argentine grounds are quite old and ill-maintained, while this is great aesthetically, it means they don’t have the best health & safety measures and a disappointed crowd can be impatient - again, I’ll be with you to ensure there is no trouble leaving the ground and home again. Beginning in Lezama Park and ending in Casa Rosada, this walk offers you the chance to approach this beautiful city from its historical past in an attempt to understand its current present. Who were the first inhabitants? Why were the British so interested in this shores? Where is the African-descendant population? Where did all these white people come from? What is the deal with Evita and Perón? Who were the "desaparecidos" during the military dictatorship? And why do we have such a big problem with the US dollar? These are just some of the many questions we will try to answer in our walk through the most historical part of town.

Realizaremos un recorrido nocturno en bicicleta, a ritmo relajado visitando algunos de los principales íconos de la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Al finalizar, si los participantes desean, podremos deternos en una zona donde podrán deleitarse con exquisitos platos típicos locales, como choripán, lomito, entre otros (comida tradicional de Argentina) en Costanera Sur. Nuestro recorrido tendrá un total de 11 km (aprox.) y se desarrollará en un 80% sobre ciclovías seguras dispuestas desde hace varios años en Buenos Aires. Haremos un total de 7 paradas para contemplar y fotografiar monumentos y edificios históricos. En cada parada ofreceremos una breve explicación sobre el área, a veces histórica, otras veces contemporánea. El paseo incluye el uso de la bicicleta. Son bicicletas de paseo modelo Holanda aro 28. Dispondrán de luces tanto traseras (rojas) como delanteras (blancas). Además se ofrece un casco de seguridad para cada huésped. En caso de lluvia la actividad puede reprogramarse para otro día u horario, o bien se procede a la cancelación y el huésped recibe 100% del dinero abonado.

Starting in a distinctive spot in Palermo neighborhood, we will enjoy an "aperitivo" to get the night started and open our appetite. Next, we will walk around some local spots in Palermo so you know the roots of the neighborhood and then sample some wines and local tapas in a stunning restaurant. We will then make our way across the main streets in Palermo until we arrive to a local staple known as a "bodegon". This restaurant has been in Palermo since 1950's and it was completely refurbished recently so we can enjoy the classic Argentine flavors with a modern twist. This is one outstanding location with a history that must be shared to keep the traditions alive. Our last spot is a traditional Argentine "parrilla", aka, steakhouse. By the end, you will have eaten great food, drank wonderful wine and learned about Buenos Aires and Palermo in great company. Of course if you have any dietary restrictions, don't worry! We will accommodate to your needs, just let us know. Other things to note: This is a fun experience for those looking to learn more about local culture through our food whilst sharing with locals and people from across the globe. Mate is much more than an infusion for Argentines. Mate is about sharing and making friends. Mate is ritual, it is intimacy and family. It has a specific way of preparing it that comes from the natives of these lands and it is done in the form of a ritual. We invite you to be part of a mate ritual, just like we do every day. We will sit at a round-shaped table to begin the mate ritual. With an introductory talk, we will tell you about the origin of mate, the legends about mate and what it means for Argentines through our personal experiences. Next, we will provide you with all the necessary elements to prepare a good mate, we will explain how the mate is prepared, all the specific rules that are followed in the mate rituals, as well as the different variations it contains. Then we will get to work, each one preparing their own mate, under our supervision and accompaniment. Then you will have a mate prepared by yourselves. We are going to try different types of mate, mate with herbs, sweet mate, cooked mate and even tereré. Always accompanied by the typical Argentine biscuits that we accompany with mate. *Many times a friend of the house delights us with live piano or guitar music. Anything can happen!!!
