Nord Vue Barn is conveniently situated in the Lakeland village of Penruddock, which benefits from very easy access to the M6. The property was an 18th Century barn which the owners converted to an extremely spacious holiday cottage, with the best of traditional and modern features. It is ideally situated for fell walking, running, mountain biking, stand up paddle boarding and other mountain and lake activities. The cottage encourages a hygge-style approach to cosiness, relaxation and wellbeing.

Mary Meadows - Character Lakeland Barn Conversion

Mary Meadows is a traditional lakeland barn conversion located in Dockray, near Ullswater in the Lake District national park. The property offers character and charm whilst providing all the comforts of modern living. It is ideally suited for families with children, couples wishing to stay together or for one couple. There is a pub in the village serving good local food and drinks, and lots of activities in surrounding area, including low level and high mountain walks right from the doorstep.

The perfect romantic retreat, Swallows Rest, is a converted 18th century hay barn. Belonging to the 17th century Grade II listed High Greenrigg House, it offers all the modern conveniences whilst retaining the character of such an historic building. The ground floor contains an open plan living room, dining area and fully fitted kitchen. There is a utility room accessed via a low stone doorframe. Easy access to the A66 for Keswick. Very convenient to get to from the M6 motorway (junction 41).

The Bothy is a small snug barn conversion adjoining our home close to Ullswater The living accommodation on the ground floor is open plan and has green electric heating and a wood burning stove in a sandstone inglenook, a wooden staircase leads to a bedroom with ensuite facilities.
