LET'S GET OUT OF THE TOURIST AREA where it is overpriced and crowded with people! This tour focuses on Ueno, which is not as crowded as Shibuya, Shinjuku and is less touristy. It is also famous with Japanese foodies for a good quality at reasonable prices. I'm going to take you to popular bars and restaurants for ONLY LOCALS (NO TOURISTS!!) where the staff speaks only Japanese. I will order signature dishes, and we will discuss the food and drink (and you can pepper me with questions). We will visit 4 restaurants/taverns in total, where you will sample sashimi, grilled fish and skewered meat, etc. You will also have the opportunity to try UNIQUE Japanese alcoholic drinks (5 or more different type of drinks) and you'll be able to experience what Japanese taverns are like. After visiting these three taverns, we will end the tour at a great Ramen shop that is popular with locals. At the end of the tour, I will explain which train station you need to go, depending on where you go. We start off the writing practice of beautiful Japanese words with a piece of guiding paper on top of model wording paper. You just need to follow the guideline of each words until you achieve the beautiful shape of the word. Once you satisfy your basic requirement. You can create your own words. Besides writing session, let make some famous awesome Udon noodles. Udon is a local cuisine in my town. The traditional handmade method that made the noodles texture just right and delicious. I am a part of a big team, we organize a group tour every weekend in Roppongi, Tokyo. Majority of my guests are from different parts of the world, and some locals. We'll then head to two izakaya restaurants that are popular among the locals. Places we visit range from modern to traditional, and if you are looking to try just ramen and sushi, this might not be the right one for you. Throughout the evening, we’ll taste different Japanese foods and drinks, learn about our pub food culture and history, and spend time with other foodies. Let's explore the food wonderland of Tsukiji Outer Market and enjoy sampling some delicious food. I will give you a brief introduction to the outer market, which is like a labyrinth. There are about 400 shops, so it's difficult to understand what is happening and to find the good ones by yourself. We will also explore the backstreets of the outer market, and I will make recommendations and introduce you to my friends. After this experience, you may continue enjoying Tsukiji Outer market by yourself—shopping, eating, and more. Please be advised that many local spots only accept cash. [REMARKS] Tsukiji inner market (Wholesale market) was closed on 6th Oct. 2018. But Tsukiji outer market is not moved. Our tour is exploring Tsukiji outer market so we could continue this tour. We will meet and start at the busiest train station in the world, Shinjuku station east exit. Then we will walk to the atmospheric alleyways of Omoideyokocho, where we can see a plethora of small Japanese izakayas that mostly offers yakitori or chicken skewers. Then next we will walk to the Kabukicho area, This entertainment district is filled with bright lights, bars, restaurants, and pachinko parlors as well as touts and hustlers. This place is also where you can find the famous Godzilla road and then from there, we will go to the Golden Gai, which is a collection of mismatched tumbledown bars lining alleyways. In daytime, we can detour to one of Tokyo’s most popular parks, the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. The park's spacious lawns, meandering walking paths, and tranquil scenery provide a relaxing escape from the busy urban center around it. (Park’s entrance fee not included) The tour is going to be approx. 2 hours. All of these while I take some candid and posed photos of you. Let’s become sushi master by spending a half day with sushi chef! This tour consists of two part. First, we will see around Tsukiji fish market where I will explain how each fish differ. Also I will explain a bit about how to make soup with kelp and dried bonito. Second part is, you will experience sushi making, you can make your own sushi! First of all, let's get to know each other with a simple self-introduction. 1. Choose your favorite antique kimono from over 300 types of kimono. (Kimonos are ranked in 4 levels. There are red stickers, blue stickers, green stickers, and yellow stickers. The price of this experience is the lowest rank red sticker kimono. On the day, You can also choose a different kimono (blue sticker +2000 yen ($15), green sticker +4000 yen ($30), yellow sticker +6000 yen ($45).) 2.
