Japanese nature is very rich in the world. There lies number of high mountains, and about 70% of the land is covered with forest blessed with rain water.  Therefore, various wild animals and plants are living in the nature. In this tour, I will take you to an unknown quiet mountain which is difficult to go by yourself without a guide,  because we can have more chance to see wild animals in that kind of mountains.  Actually, I saw some animals already there such as badger, hare, woodpecker, deer and wild boar. However deep in the nature,  there runs local bus until the entrance of this mountain which is already about 1400m high,  and we'll hike on the gentle slope until the peak of 1593m. The trail is well-equipped having restrooms and without any dangerous parts,  so even beginners can climb it up easily.   When you will come to the peak of this mountain and view the landscape with countless mountains and valleys,  you can surely feel like standing in deep nature of this mother earth far from human world. And additionally,  we can also visit other attractive spots such as a big sacred waterfall, a huge historic shrine and so on. This is a special e-bike tour held at the non-touristy area close to Takayama, heading to the hidden valley village (Maze Village) to see lots of scenic views and taste the authentic Japanese cuisine made with only local produce. The tour starts at JR Hida-Hagiwara station. After some instructions, you will cycle around the historical town first. You have the uphill to see the beautiful village but do not worry about it. E-bike is a special machine, very easy to use and make steep hills seem flat! During the tour, you will take super nice pictures of the countryside and hear a lot of local things such as history, culture and lifestyle that you would never know without a guide. Lunch break is always the highlight of tour. The meal always looks perfect, and tastes so good since all ingredients are produced in the area as gifts of nature. This is a sake brewery tour dedicated for small groups who want to escape from tourist crowd to have the authentic sake experience, including a leisurely town walk and sake tasting. The tour is held at the small country town named Hagiwara, which is near from Takayama but definitely no tourist here. You can enjoy understanding the sake brewing process and the beautiful sake tasting at your own pace without any stress. The Hida region is well known as one of the best places to make sake in Japan since we have all 3 key factors for brewing: water, rice and coldness. On the way to the Tenryo Sake Brewery, your guide will share not only the introduction of sake but the historical background of town. Inside the brewery, you will understand the brewing process of sake step by step with seeing the actual facilities and machines for production. In this activity you will be able to visit an ordinary Japanese house and participate in a private cooking class! We will cook several dishes including the dashi soup stock. I've been organizing park picnic for local families for many years. Since my husband is American, I have strong connections with English speaking families with international minded in Japan. We want to guide and introduce beautiful Nagoya castle park for tourists families and enjoy picnic together. Also we will watch Samurai show together (they held show on Saturday and Sunday. Weekdays, Samurai are walking around in the park). There are several great area in the park. Finally, we will sit down the best spot and enjoy picnic under trees. We prepare everybody's bento lunch and picnic sheet. 箸づくり体験です。 一本の棒から自分だけのオリジナルの箸を作ります。 まずは長さを決めます。次にその長さに切って早速箸作りスタートです。箸の木はヒノキです。とても良い香りがします。自分の気に入った形になりましたら、最後は自然素材の仕上げ材を塗って完成です。 箸ぶくろもセットです。旅行中に自分専用箸で食事をするのはきっと楽しいことでしょう。 刃物を使いますので、危険を伴うことがございます。 あなたと私の時間が合えば、送迎が可能です。

まず、山梨県の富士川町道の駅に集合します。そこから１０分ほど車で移動し、山里の畑で体験を行います。 ウッドデッキでコーヒー豆を炭で焙煎し、棚田と富士山を眺めながらゆったりMYコーヒーを飲むまでがこの体験です。　　 まずは　周囲にある小枝や枯草や松ぼっくり、木片など火付けに最適な材料を集めます。それをウッドガスストーブで燃やし、湯を沸かします。そのあとでできる炭を使って豆の焙煎を開始。香ばしい香りとピチピチと豆の音を丁寧に聞きわけながら、２０分から３０分程で、深煎りから浅煎りまでの自分好みの豆の出来上がり。さあ　そしたら　ミルとドリップしてコーヒーの出来上がり。クッキーなどをお供に、デッキに座ったり、畑の隅で富士山を見ながらだったり、ハンモックに揺られながらだったりとお気に入りの場所で風を感じながら炭火コーヒーを一杯いかが？ 　また　道具も手作りなので気に入れば家でも簡単に作れ、何回か繰り返すことで友人や家族にオリジナルコーヒーを喜んでもらえます。そんなスキルとDIYの面白さはお土産です。 　激しい雨や強い風などの荒天の場合は、私の家で実施します。家は、手作りのログハウス。エネルギーもかなり自前のおもしろい家です。 一人足湯とのダブル体験も可能です。 公共交通機関で来る場合、甲府駅から身延線や山交バスが可能ですが、不便なので事前にご相談ください。開始日や開始時刻の変更も相談によっては可能です。お知らせください。

お車でお越しのお客様は、会場となる山岳マルシェで集合いたします。 電車でお越しのお客様は、タクシーをご利用ください。 本漆を使った金継ぎの体験をしていただきます。(2時間) １つの器を１日で金継ぎすることはできないので、各工程をそれぞれ異なる器で体験していただき、その日の完成品も持ち帰ることができないため、あらかじめ私が完成させておいた器の中からお好きなものを１つお持ち帰りいただく、という概要です。 詳細な流れについては、以下の通りです。 １、パテを使い、器の欠けを埋める作業をします。 ２、パテで埋めてある器を、綺麗に磨く作業をします。 ３、漆を塗って、金粉や銀粉を蒔いて仕上げます。 ４、割れた器を漆を使って接着する作業をします。 ５、既に出来上がった完成品の中から、お好きなものを１つ選んでいただき、お土産にしていただきます。 日本の伝統的な技術である金継ぎは、日本のみならず海外でも昨今注目されています。 金継ぎを通して、日本独特の「わびさび」や「もったいない」の文化をお伝えできればと思っております。 その他の留意事項 漆にかぶれやすい方、漆にかぶれた経験のある方、小さいお子さまにはお勧めできません。
