Volunteer some time to help take care of the animals at the LASSie animal shelter here. You can take the dogs for a walk or help clean kennels. Worthwhile activity for animal lovers.

Great ambience amidst antique Malay houses. Haven for cat & dog lovers, due to the resort's nearby shelter. They've also got a fabulous retail collection in their lobby with great souvenir items.
