Head out on this 7.4-mile out-and-back trail near Poway, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 4 h 20 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime.

Great hike, 8 miles round trip, tough hike, so go early and bring a lot of water! There is a back way that is shorter but still very tough and very hot with no shade. Again- Bring lots of water.
