The Jasper County Historical Museum tells the historic significance of the area and is housed on the courthouse square where the Hancock Drug Store once was. On display are weapons used in Texas Revolutionary period, the life and law practice of Joe Tonahill, who defended Jack Ruby for the JFK assassination.
