Lovely walks and great views from the swing bridge! The water is super cold coming off the mountain but you’ll feel epic if you manage to go for a dip!

Nice bush walk for families and groups. Enjoy the suspension bridge river crossing. Lord of the Ring Rivendel site

If you need peace and tranquility then this is the place. Only about 30 mins from Upper Hutt. The walk to Birchville Dam is well worth it.
