WVU Core Arboretum is a fantastic place for short peaceful hikes tucked away in the heart of Morgantown. Definitely worth a visit in April when all of the wildflowers are in bloom.

This is a beatufil place to hike that is a medium challenge. It's not flat but not super steep. It is in the woods though right in town and near the University.

Great place to walk around and be outside. Accessible from the bike trail.
