Santiago's Metro is a destination in itself. Each station has its own artworks and mosaics. Most are universally accessible. Line 1 takes you along to most iconic places. The new Line 6 takes you to Persa Bio-Bio, a huge market, with its own cultural treats (crowded, exhiting, but not for everyone). For the Metro, we recommend to avoid pick hours (7:30-9:00 am) and (17:30-20:00 pm).

It is the best way to transport in Santiago, as you can buy a card and charge it and you can get to all the metro lines and the buses.

If you're heading to Providencia or Las Condes, you're probably better off walking to this Metro station so you don't have to change trains. / Si vas camino a Providencia o Las Condes, mejor usar este estación de Metro y así no tienes que cambiar de tren.
