"Wilshire Trails is one of the most visited parks in Gainesville and is located on Wilshire Road near Pearl Nix Parkway between Ivey-Terrace and Longwood Park. It features walking trails alongside Rock Creek with bridges, boardwalks and rest areas. A steep side trail leads to a lookout point overlooking the park. Other amenities include a playground, gazebos, a covered bridge, pavilion, picnic tables, and grills. The trails are part of the Highlands to Islands Trail, Rock Creek Greenway, and the Solar System Trail."

Just at the end of Ridgewood Ave it has beautiful walking/running trails scenic nature with tall trees and a creek. (picnic tables and a playground by a garden).

Great nature trail close to downtown Gainesville. Just 5 miles from Mt Plattmore.

Great place to park the car and go for a walk. The trail leads through the woods and across the main street from the square. Sometimes my wife and I will bike this trail into town and grab lunch on the square.
