A popular hiking trail that leads to the top of a plateau with a large crucifix that is illuminated at night. and has incredible views of the valley. The historic Old Idaho Penitentiary, Botanical Gardens, and Bishops House are located at the base of the trailhead.

Hike to the top - or not - to see spectacular views of the entire valley! If you look to the north of your 234 Howe Court house at night, you will see an illuminated cross at the top of the trail.

A hike to see the spread of Boise. Takes about 1 hour to hike up and 30 min to hike down. There’s also a drive up option if you want the view without the sweat!

This is a popular hiking spot in Boise. The moderate hike leads to a mesa with amazing vistas of the whole Valley. The hike starts at the Old State Penitentiary (another fun place to visit!)
