Ashburton is an ancient statuary town with many antique/ craft and jewellery shops. It has local supermarkets and many specialist food shops: Ella’s bakery, the Fish Deli and Ashburton delicatessen and Cremos ice creams. There are several cafes, notably Rafikis, a couple of pubs and a community post office/library. There is an arts centre that has a great programme of music and occasional talks.

A pretty town on the southern edge of Dartmoor National Park. Cafes and the community art centre that has a cinema and hosts music events. Nice independent shops including an artisan bakers, a fish deli, green grocers and antique shops.

Ashburton is very much worth a visit if you like Antique shops , boutique independent shops and funky eateries and coffee houses .
