Zona Rosa is the best shopping area north of the river. They have all the stores you love (like Barnes & Noble, Gap, etc) but also have some midwest BBQ and a few other restaurants sprinkled in. There's even a branch of KC Pet Project, our local animal rescue & adoption center!
