This is our favourite lake for swimming and picnics. The setting is beautiful at any time of the year. In the Summer we go to swim, although it is possible to hire a pedalo or kayak. There are some lovely picnic spots around the lake and plenty of free parking. There is a path around the lake for walkers or cyclists. There are bars and restaurants on the edge of the lake and we can recommend places to eat or for a drink.
