Only a short drive or 15 mins walk. Wat Plai Laem is the most colorful temple on Koh Samui and some of the newest temples created. Completed in 2004, this temple is a must-visit

These lovely Wats offer a tranquil way to see how the Thai people worship, with an array of different types of Buddha's. We generally take our sketch pads with us for some quiet and relaxing time.

Koh Samui has many temples that are worth visiting. Plai Laem is in the north of the island and is considered to be the most decorative temple. It features many large and colourful statues representing various gods and a lake where you can feed the fish. Please go ahead and ask your Villa Attendants for their recommendations.
