Lovely boutique hotel with a rooftop patio. They often have a jazz band in the evening. Food is gourmet but service is awful! Preferred place for a Sunday Brunch for people watching during Bici Ruta, the Sunday bike ride where most of Merida is shut down to cars.

Hot pink design hotel on Paseo Montejo with an excellent and very sophisticated restaurant - not cheap but worth it for a big night out.

This is a great breakfast AND a fantastic cocktail spot. Again you have the choice of settings (front deck overlooking Paseo de Montejo, inside the restaurant or out back) PLUS on livelier evenings, there is also the roof top to indulge in. Beautiful views and people watching opportunities, usually accompanied by great live music. Good for friends or a romantic date night.
