Halfway around the island, there is a nice quiet beach. Parking is extremely limited so this is best as an early morning visit.

limited on parking so do your research. taking a bike is how i get there.

In Falmouth, just above Portland. Beautiful small island (1.5 mile roundtrip). Great for adding nature to a Portland day trip.

Beautiful island with an oceanfront trail all the way around. Parking is limited. But if you catch it right, great place to walk. 3 miles around?

There's a trail along the shore all the way around the island, parts with rocky cliffs, parts with beaches.
