Huge military memorial & graveyard for the millions of Soviet soldiers who fell in World War II.
Monument for fallen Russian Soldiers during WWII surrounded by the great Treptower Park alongside the Spree. Great for a Walk.

“The best fast-breakfast around on every day of the week from 6am - 8pm. Its a bakery with amazing food form germany, turkey, ect. and good prices. For 10 Euro you get a coffee or tea and absolutely enough to eat if your are damn hungry. During summer you can sit close to the river. The café is run by a woman and her friends and family and everytime I go there they have a good mood and they are fast. Better organised service than most of the other café´s and restaurants around. ”

“Observatory opened to the public on 1 May 1896 as the Treptow Observatory to coincide with the Great Industrial Exposition of Berlin. Based on Archenhold's design it contained what was then the world's longest telescope, with a focal length of 21 m (69 ft). The Observatory was named after Archenhold at its 50th anniversary in 1946. The telescope was deactivated from 1958–1983 for repairs, and remains functional to this day. ”
