Your kids won’t be bored because there is specials areas for them and my girls even learn to walk in a Dubuffet cave. Europe's largest collection of modern and contemporary art (oh yes, there is a difference!) is housed in a building that was deemed to be architecturally daring in the 20th century. The building features plumbing and piping on the outside and Picasso and Pollock on the inside. And to top it all…
Centre Pompidou is an amazing place if you enjoy modern and contemporary art. And as a bonus, on top of the building, you have a very trendy bar and restaurant with a view on Paris that will take your breath away.

“A must see just a few minutes walk from our flat. The "hôtel particulier" or "city castle" in which the Picasso museum is located is worth the visit in itself. ”

“Strong recommendation to walk from the appartment down to Notre Dame (and to the banks of the river facing it) at night as the lightning enhances the magnificence of the architecture.”

“Not only is this central and a great place to exhale after visiting the Louvre, but it’s a great place for kids. There is a fountain in the middle where you can rent a model sailboat. Also, in the summer time they set up a carnival with a ferris wheel, that gives the best views of Paris outside of the Pompidou’s rooftop bar.”
